As this was our All Officer’s Night, we were pleased to welcome quite a few Distinguished Guests. Presented at the Altar were: Sister Huguette Daguerre, Worthy Grand Matron, Sisters Margaret Hourston, G.G.C.C.M. on ESTARL and Brenda Shaw-Radford, G.G.C.C.M. and Chairperson on Unfinished Business, Sisters Hélène LeBel, Louise Wilkinson, Anita Young (Grand Secretary), Roberta Hall, Marion Loffelmann, and Alana Farrell, Past Grand Matrons, Brothers Jarka Loffelmann, John Wise, Terence Radford, Ralph Hall and Angus Strong, Past Grand Patrons.

Other Distinguished Guests were Sisters Judy Christiansen, Grand Conductress, Pierrett Langevin, Grand Trustee, and Marjorie Empey, Grand Martha and Brothers Archie Christianse, Grand Trustee, Glenn Munkres, Grand Chaplain and Gordon Young, Grand Sentinel.

All were warmly welcomed by the Worthy Matron, Sister Barbara Wheaton, G.G.C.C.M. on Public Relations and PGM of Vermont and the Worthy Patron, Brother Robert Wheaton.

The Worthy Matron, Sister Barbara reported on the Annual BBQ that took place in July. Everyone had a wonderful, fun-filled day and a profit of $340.51 was realized.

Under Unfinished Business, it was decided that our Annual Draw will take place at our November meeting.

Under Good of the Order, Sister Audrey Moses, Grand Representative of Quebec in Vermont was escorted to the East where the Worthy Matron presented her with a Proficiency Certificate. Sister Audrey took the Proficiency Test along with members of Victory Chapter, where our Worthy Matron is the Guardian Angel.

Seventeen visiting Officers, including three from Vermont, representing five chapters were presented in the West and welcomed by the Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron after which they were all given some homemade chocolates.

After the Benevolent Collection was taken, we had the pleasure of hearing from Sister Huguette Daguerre, WGM, Sister Margaret Hourston, G.G.C.C.M., Sister Roberta Hall, PGM and Sister Judy Christiansen, Grand Conductress.
After the meeting, we all enjoyed a wonderful social with lots of delicious dessert salads and trifles.

Our October meeting will be the Election of Officers and we will start with a Pot Luck supper.
