The meeting closed relatively early, allowing us more time to enjoy fellowship and lots of Christmas goodies. During the social, we also had our gift exchange and a ½ & ½ draw. We were also pleased to welcome our ESTARL recipient, John Melbrew and his wife, where the Worthy Matron, Sister Heather presented him with his ESTARL award and certificate. John gave a wonderful talk on his progress and the benefits of the IPOD that the chapter gifted him with (for those that don’t know, John is blind and we gave him and IPOD in order that he can download his class lectures and assignments.
